Houston, Texas native, Dr. James E. Bolden, III, internationally known as ”the Motivator”, is a strong influence and pillar-- for not only the community of Jacksonville, but also for the state of Arkansas, and it spans across the globe! Dr. Bolden‘s influence fosters its foundation at home with his family. He is happily married to Dr. Cynthia E. Bolden, and they share the love of their sons, Dorian and Apollos. Together they cherish Dr. Bolden‘s oldest sons, Dwayne and Elvert, his five grandchildren, and their spiritual children all over the world.

Dr. Bolden, an author, educational advocate, recording artist, and a fiery motivational speaker, is a man with a compelling educational discipline! With over 24 years of serving in both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army, Dr. Bolden has utilized his extensive military background to train and motivate individuals to lead more successful, stress-free, and manageable lives. Dr. Bolden‘s fervor for education derives from his own earned Doctorate of Divinity, his certification by the State of Arkansas Law Enforcement to instruct stress management and motivational seminars, and his experience teaching at prestigious colleges, such as: Grambling State University, Grambling, LA; Louisiana Tech, Ruston, LA; and Notre Dame, South Bend, IN. His educational and motivating capabilities brought him before the staff at the Hershey Boys School in Hershey, PA, and the Harrisburg Independent School District.

Here in Arkansas, that same ardency for education made Dr. Bolden an elected official, where he served in the capacity of Vice President of the Pulaski County Special School District Board of Education! He made a tremendous impact fighting for better education and improvement of classroom environments. He has served on boards with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Boys and Girls Club, and on the advisory board at Community Bank. His influence is still strong in his community as he serves as an active member of the Rotary Club, Little Rock Air Force Base Community Counsel, and as a Water Commissioner in Jacksonville, AR.

Dr. Bolden‘s influence is multi-faceted. In 1997, he was consecrated to the office of Bishop. Walking strong in his five-fold ministry gifts, Bishop Bolden is a highly sought-after motivational speaker! His speaking-engagement requests range from church congregations and special services, to presiding at convocations, and even being invited to minister the opening prayer at the Arkansas House of Representatives‘ opening session! Bishop Bolden‘s message of motivation and holiness has also transcended his local community, as he has been a guest on Total Christian Television (TCT). His wife and he have also hosted the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), in the Illinois area. With his uncompromising stance, his military background, and his wide –spread recognition, Bishop Bolden has become nationally known in the Christian arena, as the ”Spiritual Drill Sergeant”. His living legacy continues.
